The story behind the 'Resist & Persist' design is that "Resist” signals refusal to accept the status quo – from sweatshop labour and environmental damage to everyday sexism. It aligns with Birdsong’s commitment to fair wages and local, ethical production. “Persist” reflects continuing the struggle even when the industry, funding cuts, or social pressures make it hard.
